In 1862, James Malcom , the visionary father of Napa Valley winemaking, established the winery that started it all. The Mackenzie Family purchased this already iconic estate in 1947.
James Malcolm was just 28 when he started this winery with the support of his wife and daughter. For over 80 years and four generations they have been passionately perfecting a legacy for future generations.
